Our Doctors
Dr. Ben Winters
Dr. Winters, a native of Eastern Oregon, has practiced in Milton Freewater since 2014 when he and his family of 8 moved here from Ontario, OR.
He graduated from Vale High School in 2001 and thereafter lived nearly two years in Central America where he developed a love of the Latino culture and proficient Spanish language skills.
He completed his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University and received his professional degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee in 2013.
Dr. Winters enjoys caring for patients of all ages with any sort of eye problem and finds great satisfaction in helping patients who suffer from ocular diseases such as dry eye, macular degeneration, and cataracts.
Outside of his educational and professional career, Dr. Winters loves to spend time with his wife, Kate, and their 5 young boys. His hobbies include rifle shooting, woodworking, hiking, church activities, video games, and Memphis-style BBQ.
